Jiangbo Zhu joins Wave Photonics team

Jiangbo joins Wave Photonics from a Senior Lecturer position at Northumbria University where he co-founded the Quantum and Molecular Photonics research group. He’s previously held lecturer and research positions at University of Bristol and has over a decade of experience in photonics research.

At Wave Photonics, Jiangbo will be combining his experience in integrated photonics design for optical communications, sensing, and quantum technology with Wave Photonics’ optimisation software to improve upon the company’s component library, with a particular focus on low-loss input and output couplings for quantum photonics applications.
