Mateusz Kubica joins the Wave Photonics team!

We’re excited to announce that Mateusz has joined Wave Photonics today as a founding engineer. Coming from a maths background, Mateusz has spent the last 9.5 years working as a quantitative developer and then as an equity derivatives quant, he was involved in writing Monte Carlo pricing engine and porting it to GPUs (and occasionally experimenting with novel neural networks architectures like SIREN). Mateusz will be applying this knowledge and his love of the Julia programming language to develop Wave Photonics’ optimisation software.
