Wave Photonics closes pre-seed round!

As we move into our new office in St John’s Innovation Centre in Cambridge, we’re happy to announce the completion of our pre-seed round.

 Lead by Plug and Play Ventures, Wave Photonics has closed £170,000 of investment to build software to help integrated photonics designers develop and scale their devices faster.

Alongside Plug and Play, we’re excited to have a range of great investors on board who also have a track record of supporting deep tech companies scale up, including Cambridge Enterprise, and several European and US business angels.

This round facilitates our participation in multiple Innovate UK grants which will enable us to develop our core technology in integrated photonics design software. Alongside our partner organisations, we will validate the utility of our software by fabrication and testing of trial devices.
